About Our Bed and Breakfast in Cambridgeshire
The Castle Lodge Hotel is a family run guest house in Ely which has parts dating back to 1828, with a later extension built in 1928. Conveniently located only a few minutes walk from the town centre's shops and the wonderful Ely Cathedral, you also have the Ely Museum, Oliver Cromwell's House, The Stained Glass Museum and the riverfront to look around.
A short drive away from the home of British Horse-racing at Newmarket and also the beauty and wildlife at Welney and Wicken Fen Nature Reserves. A little further and you have the historic King's Lynn and the University City of Cambridge. These are also very easily reached by our excellent local public transport system.
The hotel has received extensive renovations and redecoration by the Stevenson family and their aim is to provide affordable quality bed and breakfast accommodation for visitors to Ely and the surrounding areas.
